Information you give us
You only share personal information here if you choose to. That happens when you:
- Apply for a site audit. The audit form is hosted by Google Forms and asks for the details needed to review your website, such as your name, email address and website URL.
- Email us using any of the email links or buttons on the site. We receive whatever you include in your message.
Information collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and records information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the site or search that sent you, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. That information is processed by Google on our behalf, and we use it only to see which pages are working and where people lose interest. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not run advertising trackers here.
You can read Google’s privacy policy, or opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google’s browser add-on. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
Your browser stores one preference on your own device: whether you chose light or dark mode. That setting never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site running and secure.
How your information is used

- To improve the content and structure of this site.
Your information is never sold, rented or traded.
Marketing email
If you ask to hear from us, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by replying and asking to be removed. Applying for an audit does not sign you up for anything else.
Who else handles your information
A small number of service providers process information on our behalf:
- Audit form: Google Forms (Google LLC), which receives what you submit on the form.
- Web hosting: our hosting provider, which stores the site files and standard server logs.
- Analytics: Google Analytics (Google LLC).
Each provider may only use your information to deliver their service to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long it is kept
Enquiry emails and audit form submissions are kept while they are useful for our working relationship, and then deleted. You can ask for yours to be deleted sooner at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Depending on where you live, you may have these rights under the GDPR (UK and EU) or the CCPA (California), including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, email wynter@wyntercomfort.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is meant for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to submissions is limited to Wynter Comfort. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal or financial details through the site.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
